I love my new place!!!!
…but I forgot how creepy it is living alone.
Spooky noises and strange shadows all over.
My office/game room and guest room are totally worth it though.
Now if I could just figure out how to not be such a scaredy cat.

Octopuses or octopi?
Despite being an English major, people have been pretty quick to assume that I’m an ignorant slob. Here is a short and sweet “Merriam-Webster: Ask the Editor” video explaining how octopuses, octopi AND octopodes are all correct and here is the National Geographic page on the Common Octopus, which seems to have chosen the “octopuses” route.
